Blogging & Exercise Similarities
I haven't blogged in 3 weeks and I haven't exercised in what seems like 3 months. But I think about both a lot. Why the resistance? If there's a blog-more, weigh-less counselor out there I wished they'd contact me! I think the blog needs a focus. Originally my idea was to write about the behind the scenes drama of building Multipurposewoman but a lot of that isn't that interesting. Plus after I've lived through it I don't want to relive it. So that's out unless something is worth reliving - a success or a challenge I need help with. I've been participating in some interesting things why haven't I written about them? In addition to my usual laziness this computer has had a virus plus it's just plain slow sometimes and it stalls and I want to take it back to Gateway and tell them eat it. That subject could be a blog in and of its self. But I'd hate to relive it.

Morning Pages
If you've read or heard about The Artist's Way by Julia Cameron you've heard about morning pages. My first entry was Saturday, April 6, 2002 at 3:55pm (I couldn't wait). As soon as I finish this blog entry I'll go out on my newly painted and furnished (sale at Pier 1) porch and write pages 337, 338 & 339. The rules are simple: You write - every morning you write, in longhand, 3 pages stream-of-consciousness. Getting so much gripping out first thing in the morning leaves me with less misc. stuff to blog about. My sister would say that that's a good thing. But I liked blogging about misc. irritations - sad but true. But I must admit that it's good that getting it out first thing in the morning leaves me less likely to find things irritating during the remainder of the day. SOLUTION: find a topic for this blog. I'll blog about it until I get a winner!!
